Since 1939.
Maderas Goiriz was founded more than 70 years ago by a modest family that started in wood manufacturing. It is now in its fourth generation.
Concentrated on growth and service, in 1988 Maderas Goiriz restructured in order to offer more competitive solutions to the market and optimize its production process.
The business strategy has always been the need of evolution and continuous improvement, during the four generations.
Innovation and development have prevailed in all its decisions: in the purchase of innovative machinery, in the creation of new products, in the extension of lands, as well as in the professional qualified employees.
The company has grown significantly with the recent acquisition of the Zubiri factory in 2015. At present, the high volume of production is distributed between the factories based in Santiago de Compostela and Villalba, both located in Galicia (Spain)
